TESTING & SELECTION
After you have successfully submitted an application, you will be notified with your aptitude test date and time (typically within 60 days of application).
Testing & Selection Process
Applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be scheduled for an aptitude test provided by Electrical Training Alliance (NJATC). The test will last approximately three hours, and you must stay for the entire time to get credit. If you do not pass the aptitude test you must wait three months before you can take the test again. If you have previously taken this aptitude test within the last two years, you can request to use that score for qualifying for an interview.
The Electrical Training Alliance (NJATC) Aptitude Test consists of:
Reading Comprehension
Algebra & Functions

Oral Interview
All applicants who pass the aptitude test will move to the next step in the application process: an interview with our apprenticeship committee. You will be notifiedwith your interview date and time, which will also be held at the apprenticeship school. Applicants who receive a qualifying score on the aptitude test will qualify for an Interview.
